Hotel Claris is situated in the fashionable Gracia district, above Placa de Catalunya and the Ramblas and enjoys the reputation as one of the best hotels in Barcelona. The facade of the hotel is typical of 19th century Barcelona and has been perfectly restored, as you would expact of a hotel of this class. The tastefully decorated rooms are wood panelled and very comfortable and there are three restaurants, one specialising in the cuisine of the Ampurdan, the most northerly point of Catalunya. The hotel also boasts a museum of pre-columbine art.
