The nearby Barceloneta is a draw for locals and visitors alike, famous for its seafood restaurants. Nearby, at the bottom of the Ramblas, the statue of Columbus overlooks the port area. The hotel is also close to the church of Santa Maria del Mar, the nightlife of El Born, and Parc de la Ciutatdella and the zoo. Not quite as convenient as many other hotels for trade shows and conferences at the Fira de Barcelona as it will require a metro and/or taxi journey.
