    Just a few minutes walk from the Ramblas, the Universal is ideally placed for visiting Barcelona for business or pleasure. With the Paral.lel metro stop close by, the hotel provides a comfortable and modern base from which visitors can easily travel to any park of Barcelona. In addition to the usualy amenities, rooms are sound proofed and have free internet access. For those looking to keep trim while in Barcelona the hotel provides a gym, while for warmer weather there is a roof-top swimming pool. Although the hotel has a restaurant, there are many bars and restaurants available within easy walking distance, while some of the best food on offer is in El Born district, to the far side of the Ramblas.
